Pattern info
The lively design of 89 Harbor reflects its origin, as it took shape while i was overlooking a harbor busy with tourists, ferries, and fisher-people coming and going throughout the day. Using stitch patterns based on my 'Rocas' shawl, this rectangular scarf with crisp i-cord edges features graphic diagonal lines created by short rows and eyelets between easy-to-knit panels of different stitch combinations. This construction lends itself well to the use of tonal or speckled yarns but would also be striking in a solid color.
The rectangular shape makes it very versatile and wearable in countless different ways. The pattern is fully written and is also charted.
