PATTERN INFO

Relaxing garter with an easy lace pattern makes this shawl easy to knit and wear. The shawl is fully reversible with an equally pretty pattern on both sides.

Pool drops is worked flat from the top down, starting with a garter tab. Stitches are increased every row along the edges to create the crescent shape. The pattern is fully written and a stitch count is given throughout the whole shawl. The lace pattern is also charted.

Yarn 

2 skeins Madeline Tosh merino light (100 gr-420yds/384m). 
Sample yardage, 794yds/726m in color Translation.
Or any fingering weight yarn: approx. 840yds (768m).

Materials 

24” (minimum 60 cm) circular or straight needles. 
US 5 (3.75 mm).
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Gauge - blocked 4" (10 cm) 

Lace pattern, 18 stitches x 30 rows.
Garter stitch, 18 stitches x 37 rows. 
Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage.

Finished dimensions 

Approx. 94.5” (240 cm) wingspan along top edge x 17“ (43 cm) width.
