Pattern info

Salve is a cozy hat, seamlessly worked in the round with columns of cables and eyelets. Easily adjust length for slouchy or beanie by changing where you fold the brim. The pattern is fully written out with stitch counts and also charted. The pattern contains also a photo tutorial.

Yarn 

1 skein of De Rerum Natura Gilliatt (100% Merino, 100 gr-273yds/250m).
Sample yardage, 178yds/163m in color Goeland. Pom pom not included.
Or any DK weight yarn: approx. 175-219yds (160-200m).

Materials 

16” (40 cm) circular needle or 32” (80 cm) for magic loop and/or dpns 
US 6 (4.0 mm). 
US 8 (5.0 mm).

Gauge - blocked 4" (10 cm)

Cable pattern, 25 stitches x 32 rounds.

Finished dimensions 

Adult size, unstretched 17.3” (44 cm), fits approx. 20.5-23” (52-58 cm) circumference.
