Pattern info
'Wintry Lake' is a modern and striking composition of bold intersecting cables that suggest the fracture lines in the surface of a frozen pond, as well as the crystalline structure of the ice. Yet this shawl is meltingly soft to the touch, as seen here in a lustrous blend of merino, silk, and camel featuring the grey-blue hues of the 'Winter Dreams' colorway.
The texture and graphic angles of this asymmetrical triangle may look intricate, but they are easy to knit and create a warm accessory perfect for chilly days.
'Wintry Lake' has an asymmetrical but nearly triangular shape with a built-in edge and is worked flat from the right tip to the left edge. The pattern is fully written out with stitch counts and includes a chart for the cable repeats.
